“It always takes awfully long time to understand unbelievably simple things.”

It's so true.

It also takes a long time for me to update people on my life :)

1> No longer with Camfel. It was a nice 5 months, it was a time that I think God showed me what I needed to see and gave me who He wanted to give me and then it was time for me to move on and be a big girl and figure out my life in the real world. It's also a freakishly wonderful thing to have a "normal" relationship with Jake. We know where we'll be week to week, no real "surprise! We're within an hour of each other this weekend", and we can get into a church family and become part of the community.

2< That community happens to be in Orlando, where I happen to be. To a lot of my Minnesotan friends this is just crazy talk. Florida is where we go for vacations and visit Mickey Mouse. I live here and as much as I'm not a fan of the "look" of it ( the grass is puke brown, the tree's look like they're covering up monster snakes and spiders and I now live in a state with a toll road, I hate toll roads) BUT it's been a wonderfully cold 70 degrees and down to 45 at night..... THAT change I can handle, no problem.

3> God is moving. God is working. I feel that, for the first time in a couple months I finally feel God's ability to use me in a way that affects a community that I"m directly involved with.

4< I have the opportunity to be a mentor at a Middle School Magnet school in downtown Orlando. The program itself is wonderful but the woman that heads it, is someone I know God had put in my life because she couldn't be anymore sweeter, kinder, honest and has a PASSION for these kids.

5> It looks like to me, after one visit *which usually doesn't say a lot BUT* Summit church is the church I would like to become more involved in and I"m really looking forward to the awesome opportunities God's going to put in my way in the next coming months.

6< As one can imagine, Figure Skating isn't really the biggest sport in Florida. From what I've gathered there's 1 club and I"ve been chatting with a board member about coaching, but it's sounding like I just have to volunteer for a bit and then we'll see what happens this summer. There are a freakish amount of Cheerleading groups here and I have a few callbacks who want to meet up this week and talk about possibly hiring me/bringing me on as a volunteer. There are a lot of possibilities for jobs, so we'll see what it all brings and that will just be in my next update.

*There are a lot of small details that at the end of the day, just make my life really fun and put a smile on my face (My fabulous and wonderful roommates, the wonderful and kind people I"m meeting all the time, driving my own car, having alone time) But I know a lot of people really didn't know where I was or what's been going on . So there you go, I miss almost All of you and hopefully will be in Minnesota in May/June. Or possibly before that.
